Enfants d’Orient
For the last twenty years, our organization has helped Quebec families to pursue their international
adoption project in South Korea, Thailand and Taiwan.
By working with Enfants d’Orient, you get access to this kind of information:
| • |
The conditions of eligibility for either of the three Asian countries we work with; |
| • |
The legal conditions and procedures in regard to international adoption in this province and in the
child’s country of origin; |
| • |
The practices and socio-cultural particularities related to any adoption project in South Korea,
Thailand and Taiwan. |
You also secure:
| • |
Guidance and help to prepare and send your file to the child’s country of origin and also when the proposal arrives; |
| • |
Post-adoption support in terms of legal and administrative requirements related to the final adoption judgment; |
| • |
Access to a network of families and a membership that allows you to participate to seminars, social gatherings
and a bulletin board. |
Enfants d'Orient is a non-profit organization accredited by the Secretariat to International adoption.
Our board of directors, permanent workers and other volunteers all have in common the adoption of an Asian child or are
waiting for a proposal to adopt. The board of directors takes care of all management issues. The preparation and processing
of new files, the post-adoption follow-ups and many other daily issues are in good hands with our two permanent workers.

Please be advised that due to the inherent nature of our organization which relies mostly on volunteers,
your call will be returned within 24 hours following the time you left a voice or electronic message (although we try to return
all calls the same day).
For the same reason, our website is not translated completely and although we wish to get there some day,
it would require a very patient and giving volunteer or maybe a team of them. In the meanwhile, do not hesitate to contact us
and anything you need to have translated can be done over the phone or by email.
